J. Patrick Garcia Breathe Easy Running Event
I want to pass along information for a run in Albuquerque scheduled for Saturday, November 3rd. The race raises money and awareness about Pulmonary Hypertension and is held in honor of J. Patrick Garcia, brother to local retired teacher and girls basketball coach, Joseph Garcia. Below is information from their website.
Join us for the third annual "J. Patrick Garcia Breathe Easy Event" - 5K Run/Walk to raise awareness and funds for Pulmonary Hypertension (PH).
This event will take place on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at the Albuquerque Academy High School. The 5k run/walk will start at 8:00am.
This is not a competitive (timed) race but rather an opportunity to bring together local runners in the community who are interested in learning more about PH and running/walking for a cure!
Registration is $25 for all participants 9 years of age and older.
Event parking will be available at the northeast corner of Hoffmantown Church (Ventura and San Antonio parking lot.)
Please note: Race packet pick-up will be held on Friday November 2nd, 2012 from 10:00am-7:00pm @
Breathe Easy 5K - 2012!!!
This is the *3rd Annual J. Patrick Garcia Breathe Easy 5K* to raise
money and awareness about Pulmonary Hypertension. We are partnered with the Pulmonary
Hypertension Association for this event.

This event is open to all ages and will be at the same
location as last year, the Albuquerque Academy 5K loop. Kids under the age of 10 are free!!!
