Click here for the series poster. All races start at 9am in front of the EMRTC building, at “The Snake”. There is a $5 series entry fee and a $25 prize for the series championship in each age group.

The 2008 Chile Harvest Triathlon Is Complete

Thank you to everyone who sponsored, volunteered, attended, and participated in the 2008 Chile Harvest Tri. It was a success due to all of your hard work.

The results are up on CCR's timing page, and I would like to congratulate Clay Moseley and Aubrey Blair-Pattison for winning the event. They were kind enough to wait to receive their award hours after they finished.

We had many local athletes compete with quite a few placing in their age groups or in their relay divisions. These medalists included Hans, Regina, Jennell, Alyssa, Lynette, Pat, and Catharine (both pictured below). Way to go!

La Luz Results

We had three Striders and Riders compete in the 2008 La Luz trail run, held on August 3rd.

Jeff Johnson was the first local to finish and placed 2nd (out of 40!) in Male 35-39 with a time of 1:50:36.

Placing the best was Ellen Aster, who won her AG and was the 6th overall female with a time of1:56:53.

Ellen's proud father, Rick, finished in the top third of his age group (10th) with a 2:05:52.
