My dad and I ran the Butte to Butte 10K in Eugene, OR on a beautiful sunny Independence Day. The course went up Spencer Butte a bit, then down and across town to finish at the base of Skinner Butte. We both met our dual goals of sub-hour and not getting beaten by the other person, finishing together in 55:48.
It was my longest race and first one with a crowd---being surrounded by 2600 people is smellier than running alone!
