A bunch of members of our club (and others from Socorro) ran in the various races associated with the Duke City Marathon on October 19.
Toby Sachs-Quintanna ran the marathon.
A team of Socorro High cross country runners did the marathon relay- I believe that this was team "Got Sweat", and they came in fourth, in under three hours!
Katrina Burleigh, Stefanie Azevedo, Joanne Bitsui, E. P. Higgs, Preciliano Vaiza Jr., Kathy Glesener, and I all ran the half marathon.
Steven Montoya, Dylan Gallegos, Ignacio Chavez, Barbara Martinez, and Fran Hazlewood all ran the 5K. Steven came in 3rd in his age group with a time of 19:53.
