The 2nd run of our Fall Series is this Saturday, 10/26. Not only
is this our Halloween 5k (dress up if you'd like. We often get some
hilarious costumes!) but we've also teamed up with our Socorro High
School Cross Country Team to lend the kids some support.
The
Cross Country Team gets VERY LITTLE financial support and relies mostly
on donations and fundraising. The team operates on a shoestring budget
and have had to go with out real uniforms, timing systems etc. Coach
Zuni and some of the kids will be at the race to participate and help
out. They will be accepting any donations
you'd like to give and are selling Warriors Cross Country tshirts (all
proceeds to support the team.) Anything is appreciated!
Fall Series Race #2:
When: Saturday Oct 26 at 9:00am
Where: The Snake (statue next to EMRTC)
Fees: $5 entry fee
Who: Everyone! Runners, joggers, walkers. All ages and levels.
