Saturday's Valentines 5k was what Socorro Striders and Riders is all about! We were a small yet diverse group of runners and movers out on the course. We had racers, walkers and everything in between. We had a 9 and a 10 year old girl and boy, Tech students, local community members and a few seniors all finish the course. We had parents with kiddos in strollers and a couple 4-legged-friends participating. It was a fun day and we hope you'll join us (with your friends/family) for our Shamrock-out Fun Run on March 25th at the Snake. Be on the lookout for reminders!

Sandra and I enjoyed our "run" very much and, with the caring of Kim who waited patientely for us to cross the finish line, we received our boxes of chocolate prize. With a combined age of 158 we were exactly 1 hour behind the winner and happy!
