Election Results and Minutes of the SSR Meeting, 12/10/16

Socorro Striders and Riders gathered at the home of John Leeper for our end of year celebration and election meeting on December 10.

1. We elected officers for 2017:

President: John Leeper
Vice President: Stacy Timmons
Treasurer: Harold Udseth

Congratulations to the new officers and thanks for agreeing to serve!

2. We discussed the 2017 Chile Harvest Triathlon and agreed that we should proceed with the event with a tentative date of August 4 (kids)-August 5 (adults.)

3. We discussed the spring racing series.  Lynette Napier has agreed to direct the series.  We have not yet scheduled dates, in part because we would like to determine and avoid potential schedule conflicts with youth basketball, AYSO soccer, etc.  Please provide information about potential conflicts to Lynnette.

As I hand over the presidency to John, I'd like to thank all of you for your help and support this year.  There's a lot of volunteer effort that goes into the events that SSR sponsors, and we couldn't do it without your help.
